Building character, strengthening academics, and helping every Warrior succeed.
CLASSY is SVMS’s character-building and bullying-prevention program. It encourages students to develop positive habits, recognize their own worth, and treat others with kindness and respect.
STARS stands for Students and Teachers Accepting Responsibility to Succeed. Every student is assigned a 30-minute STARS class, where teachers serve as mentors and help students develop academic and social skills.
Monday – Teacher Choice
Tuesday – Grade Checks & Makeup Work
Wednesday – Be CLASSY
Thursday – Student Council Directed Social Skills
Friday – Fun Day
RIF (Remediation, Intervention, Flex) is a daily 20-minute period designed to help students stay on track academically.
RIF provides students with dedicated time for academic support, allowing them to work with assigned teachers, receive extra help, and complete missing assignments. Students who are meeting academic expectations may also have the opportunity to participate in FLEX activities, which offer enrichment and student-choice experiences.
Warrior Clan is for students who, over time, keep their grades and citizenship points up. Students who meet the quarterly requirements earn the opportunity to participate in special Warrior Clan activities, such as skiing, movies, and other fun experiences. Students who lose points along the way also have opportunities to earn them back through academic improvement and service.
Warrior Clan encourages students to set goals, take responsibility for their choices, and celebrate their hard work and accomplishments.
