Vital Role of Attendance

Yearbook – Yearbook – Yearbook!!

Parents and Students!!!! Do you have pictures that you would like in the yearbook? The deadline is soon…

Please send them to: gro.2dscl@koobraeysmvs

The Trout in the Classroom crew have been taking great care of the rainbow trout. TIC members test water quality parameters twice a week and monitor tank health multiple times a day. After testing pH, ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates students decide whether a water change or chemicals need to be added. We've had fun feeding and watching them grow.

CLASSY – a continued focus at SVMS

Count Your Blessings – Look for the Good – Acts of Kindness – Service -Self-Motivation – You are Valued

Do it! AND Be happy!!!

Service – The first “S” in CLASSY is for Service. Service provides each of us an opportunity to see beyond ourselves by helping others. Service can be as small as helping a classmate on a math problem or as large as painting a house. Two benefits of service are an increase in self-esteem and empathy. It feels good to help others, can be fun, and increases self-worth. Serving allows us to see that not everyone’s life is like theirs, increasing empathy and understanding for others. So next time you have a spare minute or feeling down…reach out and serve someone.
