LCSD2 theme for the month of December is differentiated instruction:

At Star Valley Middle School, our commitment to providing an enriching and tailored learning experience is exemplified through our focus on differentiated instruction. Our dedicated faculty recognizes the unique strengths and learning styles of each student. To enhance understanding, we offer a tutorial class where students can receive personalized assistance on challenging concepts. For those seeking to excel at their own pace, our extension classes provide an opportunity for guided work time. Recognizing the importance of individualized attention, RIF (Remediation, Intervention, Flex) time is designated for students to engage in one-on-one or small group sessions with their teachers. Additionally, we proudly offer advanced courses in English, Math, and Informational Literacy, providing an intellectually stimulating environment for those eager to delve deeper into these subjects. At Star Valley Middle School, we strive to foster a dynamic and inclusive educational setting where every student can thrive.

What is Warrior Clan at SVMS?

A celebration of success for academics and citizenship

Students earn rewards for achieving high academics and displaying good citizenship. These activities happen on a quarterly basis. After the 1st quarter, students who qualified for warrior clan, enjoyed a day swimming in Pinedale. Currently, students are working on earning a ski trip.   Work hard and earn big with Warrior Clan at SVMS!!!!
